Juaneda Hospitals, awarded the Health Award at the XIII Onda Cero Menorca Awards for its quality of care

The Onda Cero Menorca Awards have recognized, in its 13th edition, in the Health Award category, Juaneda Hospitals of Menorca, for its offering of a wide range of health care services, medical specialties, hospitalization, high technology, and functional facilities, especially after the opening of the new Juaneda Ciutadella Hospital.

José Luis Bosch, manager of Juaneda Hospitals in Menorca, and Dr. Xavier Pons, medical director, received the award on Wednesday, October 16, during the XIII Onda Cero Menorca Awards ceremony, which took place at 7:00 p.m. at the Teatre Principal in Maó. The social event was one of the most important of the year, with a large attendance of the public and authorities from Menorca.

A few hours before the award ceremony, José Luis Bosch expressed his joy and gratitude, highlighting "the special significance of an award like this being given to a private healthcare company and the importance of recognizing the growth and work being done here on the island by Juaneda Hospitals of Menorca."

José Luis extended the award to the entire Juaneda Hospitals team in Menorca: "It is clear that this is an award for all those who make the Juaneda Ciutadella Hospital and the rest of the group's healthcare services on the island possible. Without the support and work of all the teams, from cleaning staff to doctors, this award would not have been possible."

In this edition, as reported by the organization in a press release, "the Onda Cero Menorca Awards focus on projects born, created, and executed on the island, as well as people who are an example for new generations and initiatives that have managed to carve out a space in Menorcan society."

Along with the Health Award granted to Juaneda Hospitals, a variety of initiatives, companies, and individuals were honored for their special contributions to solidarity, education, tourism, business, local commerce, the environment, gastronomy, festivities and traditions, and culture.

The jury secretary and regional director of Atresmedia Radio and Onda Cero Balears, Juan Carlos Enrique, emphasized the importance of these awards, which "positively highlight those individuals, groups, and projects that contribute to making our society a better place." Journalists from Onda Cero, Elka Dimitrova and Iván Martín, hosted the ceremony.

We congratulate the entire team at Juaneda Hospitals in Menorca, at the Juaneda Ciutadella Hospital and the Juaneda Mahón Clinic, as well as all the healthcare services spread across the island, who have tirelessly carried out their work for the health of the people of Menorca, now publicly recognized with this Health Award from Onda Cero.
